RobotGifs collects only the information needed to operate the feature you choose to use. Questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to robotgifs@gmail.com.
RobotGifs Weekly email
When you enter an email address, the site sends it from a protected Netlify server function to Brevo, our email service provider. The Brevo API key is never sent to your browser. Brevo sends the confirmation message and adds the address to the RobotGifs Weekly list only after the confirmation link is used.
RobotGifs and Brevo process the email address, subscription and suppression status, confirmation timing, and ordinary campaign delivery and engagement events so the newsletter can be delivered and maintained. Brevo hosts the subscriber list, applies bounces and complaints, and automatically prevents campaign email to addresses that unsubscribe or are blocklisted.
Each edition includes an unsubscribe link managed by Brevo. Subscribers can also ask RobotGifs for a copy of their subscriber record or deletion of it. Suppression information may be retained where needed to honor an unsubscribe and prevent accidental resubscription or sending.
RobotGifs does not use LinkedIn as its subscriber database, does not scrape LinkedIn subscribers, and does not sell the RobotGifs Weekly list. Brevo provides a CSV export so RobotGifs can move the permission record to another email provider if necessary.
Site operation
Netlify hosts RobotGifs and may process standard request information needed to deliver the site, protect the signup endpoint, and apply per-IP rate limits. Links to X, LinkedIn, and other sites are governed by those services’ privacy practices after you leave RobotGifs.
